London -  Recorded within the revered and inspirational confines of Abbey Road Studios, it took the members of Pink Floyd a mere thirty-eight days spread over the course of seven months to create one of rock's most enduring and significant musical works, and indeed, the landmark concept album. The ten tracks were still a work in progress when the Floyd played four nights at London's Rainbow Theatre as part of a six-week UK tour. The seamless story of alienation, paranoia, death and other assorted personal and social ills was laid out in a sensory feast for the eyes and ears of three thousand as they lay witness to one of the first complete performances of "The Dark Side Of The Moon"
